Just an update. I get antsy when I have don't blog for awhile, even if I'm too busy to write anything meaningful.
Summertime rolls. This week: rainy cabin with friends, Sonic Youth live on the Levee, and writing my art and autism paper.
Also, tomatoes! From MY yard. Truly amazing to me that I am capable of growing something out there.
I love the farmer's market in high summer. It's bumpin'.
And.... we are going to California! Me and kids anyway. Week of my birthday. How freaking fantastic. Can't wait to drink wine with my Bonita and meet my new nephew, George.
By the way, you know you're old when you have to do math to remember how old you're turning. 36, really? I thought I was already 36. You mean I wasted 35 thinking I was 36? Damn.

lol, my mom was 38 for two years because she jumped the gun on it! She would have aged herself to 39 except I did the math for her and saved her a year ;) I remember thinking, "Who really forgets so completely how old they are???" Well now, some 18 years later....
LOL... happy 36. :) Every year I get older I feel like getting older is less dramatic than it used to be. When I was 12 I died to be 13... when I was 16, I would have killed to be 18... but now... well I could jump to 40 and be ok. ;)
Have a great birthday Dawn!!
